Identipak will be at CPNA speaking to visitors about its specialized filling expertise. The company says it is known for being able to fill the smallest sachets with the most difficult viscosities.

One of its latest sampling developments involves the filling of essential oils. In addition to identifying the precise film structure to contain the essential oils, the additional challenge was to accurately fill less than 0.5g of oil into a die cut shaped foil sachet in an efficient and consistent manner. This issue was worked out by their in-house engineering team that devised a unique multi-lane, non-contact, anti-drip dosing system which allows for micro-filling with repeatability.

In addition, Identipak’s engineering team developed a feeding mechanism that inserts a die cut shaped, pre-folded face mask towel into a die cut shaped foil sachet, and then doses it with liquid product – the result is a die cut mask inside a die cut sachet.
